Job Role
- Prospect and Generate New Leads: Utilize your expertise in market research and networking to identify potential clients and target industries. Leverage various channels such as LinkedIn, prospecting tools such as Lusha, industry databases, and other online resources to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Establish and Maintain Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, nurturing relationships to understand their unique needs and challenges. Engage in consultative discussions to position our Quality & EHS Management Software solutions as the ideal fit for their requirements.
- Cold Calling and Email Campaigns: Implement strategic cold-calling campaigns and/or personalized email outreach to capture the interest of potential clients. Develop persuasive communication that showcases our software’s value proposition and fosters interest in scheduling meetings with our sales team.
- Schedule and Coordinate Meetings: Collaborate closely with the sales team to set up and manage meetings with prospective clients. Coordinate schedules, ensure preparedness, and provide necessary resources to facilitate productive discussions.
- Sales Collateral Development: Support and Collaborate with marketing and sales to create compelling sales collateral, including pitch decks, case studies, and product presentations, that effectively showcase the unique features and benefits of our software.
- Market Analysis and Competitor Research: Continuously monitor the market landscape and keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities. Utilize this knowledge to fine-tune our approach and maintain a competitive edge.
- Track and Report: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, lead status, and prospect interactions using our CRM system. Generate regular reports to track progress, highlight achievements, and recommend adjustments to the business development strategy.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the software industry, with a focus on lead generation and prospecting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and the internal sales team.
- Strong cold-calling and email outreach abilities with a persuasive and professional communication style.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely, while collaborating seamlessly with a geographically dispersed team.
- Familiarity with Quality Management and/or EHS Management Software will be a significant advantage.
